Gophers 101

Many people are, unfortunately, aware of how destructive and troublesome Pocket Gophers can be. They will cause widespread damage to ornamental plantings and lawns and contribute to an overall unhealthy appearance to landscaped areas. They have also been attributed to slope failure, undermining soil, and soil erosion in areas they have impacted.

Gophers live in a network of tunnels they have established underground consisting of a lateral runway, refuse cache, food cache and a fecal cache, they are very meticulous in maintenance of their burrow system, and this is a primary reason as to why they often exhibit shyness or neophobia to foreign items placed in their environment.

Our company uses time-tested trapping methods and CO gas to keep gophers under control. These treatments keep your pets, other domesticated animals, and non-targeted wildlife out of harm's way.

We are licensed professionals, and as part of the licensing process it is required that our ongoing continuing education hours be met in order to renew and maintain our licenses.
